Who Is Off Every Day?

U.S. born Greek/American Indian?/Pilgrim Mark Stamas started Off Every Day (OED) in 1979 with this acronym based on the deep seated hostility that Mark held dear, his off personality and love of the dictionary.
Since then, OED has been pounding out a diverse array of hits with Beatlesesque melodies and distorted jazz chords. The basis of pop combined with the non-sequitar madness of visionary truth.
The band's personality is echoed in its music. To some, Mark is an irreverent outspoken existentialist, who doesn't suffer fools lightly. To others he's just a smart-allecky prick. His lyrics portray a critical and perceptive view of the human race, occasionally bordering on cynicism.
Most of OED's band members reside in Mark's mind, well, actually they all do. The personality conflicts and lack of motivation forced the band to become virtual, luckily the music escapes unscathed.
Today Off Every Day focuses on not existing on this plane but rather only existing in the minds of the listener. After all, what is sound but the brains' interpretation of waves of air flowing around and through us.
